The creative mind behind perlentiere.com, Christiane Brüning, recently published a new book with patterns for all sorts of little beaded figurines for many occasions throughout the year.

The beaded dolls in this book range from tiny to thumb-sized (which, come to think of it, is also tiny), and I just couldn’t wait to get started with one of the bigger dolls, from the “Easter” section: the Easter Bunny. Continue reading

It was my mom’s birthday a couple of weeks ago.

Hubby and I gave her the coolest Memory game (which I hope and think she liked), and to stick on top of the wrapped present, I beaded a cute (well… so-so cute) little Teddy bear giving her his heart, and because the bear didn’t end up being quite as perfect as I would have liked him to be, I made an extra, bigger heart as well.
