It was my grandpa’s birthday recently – 95, if you can believe it – and I was drawing a complete blank as to where to find a gift for him, as I always am when I have to find a gift for a man. Men are hard to give gifts to, don’t you think? So I called my mom and we got to talking about how he sometimes wears a bolo-tie when he’s really dressing up. So I braided and beaded a bolo-tie. Mein Opi hatte neulich Geburtstag – er ist 95 geworden! – und wie immer wenn ich ein Geschenk für einen Mann finden muss, fiel mir absolut nichts ein.
